FSTS: Revised Departure Lounge

With my affliction clearing I finally find myself back with the energy to work. So I decided on what I understand to be the most concerning component of my visualisation: The departure lounge. This is still in the early phases however but I am glad in the space of an hour-and-a-half I managed to create a good foudnation to work on.

I went back ot my influence map to discover the airport pictures I had gathered were heavy on beige, earthy and pastel colours as well as a touch of wood paneling. I actually like how the cool colours of the exterior actually serve as a nice contrast to the warm beiges and oranges of the interior.

  1. Hi Mark.
I really like the simplicity and the consistency in the colours that you have chosen. Also, it is an obvious good thing that it is clear that it is an airport, even though there are no airplanes outside. Perhaps, though, as you're characters are designed in a 1970's style, you could make this look even more like the 1970s. Keep it up! :)

    1. Thanks Dan. I've still got a few things to add. Those benches for example I plan to have the padding be leather based on the benches and chairs in one of my influence map images.
