Adaptation B: Orthograph Design

This afternoon felt very positive. I received a solid approval to progress with Colo Colo so the 3D aspect is coming very soon. As such I decided to look into feet design as that was one of the few things I had left to do. I found it intriguing that the feet of species like the basilisk lizard or the frilled lizard have an inverted toe-line to humans, where the longest toe is in fact second furthest from the core of the body. This is presumably to give the creature a more stable platform while it runs, as the legs are a lot more splayed out than in the running gesture of animals like cats, dogs, humans and horses (where the landing positions of the feet are more towards the body's line of symmetry). So while peculiar at first, it came to make a lot more sense when the creature's running posture was considered.
